In April and May, Gallery Two will present two captivating and engaging exhibitions.

Broken Ground, featuring artists Christobel Kelly and Jake Novick, explores the influence of Romanticism on the landscape, with works created from the ideas of contemporary Romanticism, which are no longer governed by an impetus to move away from the Enlightenment. Rather, the idea of a romantic response to landscape, is grounded in the pragmatic notion that there is a real and tangible link between awe of nature and radical conservation of nature.

Ancient Practices, curated by Maria Ellers, transports us to the earliest art forms that connected both landscape and humanity. Ancient Practices will focus on a strong public program where guests may share the joys of creating from scratch something that directly connects to their local area and to the earth.
