VENUE: CORAL STREET ART SPACE
In the workshop participants will repurpose beautiful domestic fabrics and embroidery threads to begin slow stitching text of their ‘mantra’.
Participants will be guided in their design and stitching to create something that is relevant for them.
All skill levels are welcome - from absolute beginning stitchers to the more experienced.
Slow stitching has become a world-wide movement, embracing a mindful approach to making, crafting and processing thoughts.
The 2-hour workshop may not be enough time to finish your work, but materials and instructions will be provided to complete the work, including framing, outside of the workshop.
All materials are included:
Embroidery hoop
Repurposed fabrics and threads.
Needles, scissors.
