Join internationally renowned contemporary dance company, Australian Dance Theatre (ADT) for a FREE dance workshop program.
Taught by Company Artists, this workshop series will use the company’s repertoire of recent works to explore contemporary dance practice and technique.
The afternoon sessions will culminate in a small showing for family and friends on the final session.

23 – 26 September at Investigator College Theatre, 9 Bacchus Road Victor Harbor
3:45 – 5:30pm
Best suited for young people aged 12+ eager to explore and extend their dance and movement practice
What to expect: The workshop series will draw upon the contemporary dance techniques engaged by the company as part of the dancer’s daily training and preparation.
Participants will explore company repertoire, learning phrases from recent ADT works.
Company dancers will guide participants through a series of creative tasks and improvisation practices, which are central to the ADT’s collaborative creative processes.
Community showing- During the last session, 26 September, participants will share what they have explored and perform excerpts work alongside the ADT company artists
What to wear: Comfortable dance wear e.g. trackpants and t-shirt, shorts and t-shirt. You can choose to dance barefoot or in socks.
What to bring: Please bring a drink bottle
